Why Do I Use GetResponse? [Not A Review – Just My Honest Answer]

This isn’t a review. I’m not about to dive into the ins and outs of GetResponse and I’m not writing this post just so that I can earn some commissions. If you want to see all the features of GetResponse then you should check out their website, not mine.

They explain everything here.

I’m writing this so that I can link to it whenever I get asked which email marketing platform I use and why. I guess I’m just saving myself the task of answering this question multiple times. With that in mind, I’m going to keep this short and sweet and write off the top of my head just like I would if I you sent me an email and I was writing back to you (and yes, I would include affiliate links in that email, just like I am in this post).

Here we go…

Which email marketing platform do I use and why?

I use GetResponse for pretty much everything to do with my email marketing. You only have to subscribe to the LeadsMonger newsletter here to confirm that fact.

I’ve also used AWeber in the past and have no issues with their service. I just like GetResponse better.

My reasons for using GetResponse are pretty simple.

#1: My emails are delivered. This is probably the number one thing that brought me over to GetResponse and I’ve been very happy with their delivery rates.

#2: I like the simplicity of the dashboard. I really find it easy to use and navigate around my account.

#3: I like all the advanced options available for my autoresponders. I use autoresponders A LOT, so it’s important to me to be able to customize the customer journey and improve my conversion rates. I don’t use all the features available – far from it. But I do take advantage of timing controls, action-triggered sequences and segmentation.

#4: I like the fact that GetResponse is always innovating and improving. I don’t use the full variety of options available – I tend to stick to pretty basic options for my email templates, forms and landing pages – but it impresses me that if I do want to get more creative then I can do it all with GetResponse and don’t have to invest in other platforms.

#5: GetResponse integrates with everything I use particularly Facebook, WordPress, ClickFunnels and OptinMonster.

#6: The price is right. GetResponse isn’t the cheapest solution around, but great value and the right price for my business.

#7: The GetResponse List Building Program was excellent. I completed this course a while ago and was impressed. I’m not entirely sure why this is so important to me. I guess that I just believe that if a platform is dedicated to the success of its clients even half as much as they’re concerned with the success of their own business then that’s a good sign in my book.

That’s it. That’s all I really want to say about why I use GetResponse. It just works for me and makes it easy for me to run my business, which is very heavily reliant on email marketing.

I hope I’ve been able to answer your question about which email marketing platform I use and why.

If you want to learn more about GetResponse, go to the site and check it out.

After that, if you’re interested in looking into GetResponse yourself, I suggest you examine your own needs and whether they meet those needs.
